Our IVF experience dates back to 1992 and we achieve excellent levels of success across a range of treatments and patient groups. We know that two of the most important things you'll be researching when choosing a fertility clinic is the clinic success rates and looking at patient feedback and experience.
Success rates
The below chart shows our live birth counter, which shows how many babies have been born (or are expecting) over the last 5 years (2019-2023).
This includes patients through our main site and satellite sites. Year after year, as Cambridge IVF grows, our patient numbers and success rates increase.
It is important to remember that when looking at data, a fertility journey is personal to everyone. Everyone we see is treated as an individual. During your consultation, we will assess your specific circumstances to discuss what treatment plan may work for you.

How does CIVF compare nationally?
The below chart shows the percentage of CIVF Embryo Transfers resulting in a live birth using data from 2019 & 2020, split into age groups and a split of Fresh and Frozen treatment types.
The chart also helpfully shows the UK Average percentage line and how Cambridge IVF compare with that.
Please note, The UK average for the equivalent age groups and treatment type is sourced from the HFEA, and is for the latest validated year (2019).
This data does not include donor eggs.
The fertility regulator, the HFEA, state the following on their website for patients to consider when selecting a clinic:
"It may be tempting to rely solely on success rates but the reality is that most clinics are broadly all as good as each other - small differences in rates are usually down to the different types of patients treated."

The table below shows the statistics for live birth rates per embryo transfer procedure at CIVF. These have been split into Fresh or Frozen and by age range. Please note: the number on the bar shows the sample number of embryo transfer procedures performed in that age/procedure category. The percentage is the live birth rate per embryo transfer.
HFEA guidance

As the regulator of the UK fertility industry, the HFEA aim to ensure that everyone who steps into a fertility clinic, receives high quality care. They do this by licensing, monitoring and inspecting fertility clinics and providing free, clear and impartial information about fertility treatment, clinics and egg, sperm and embryo donation.
The HFEA present data in a consistent and meaningful way allowing you to compare the clinics in your region both on treatment outcomes and also patient satisfaction.
