Unlicensed sperm donor, Simon Watson claims he fathered 800 children. The 41 year old male charges £50 for his service and most of his clients find him on his social media profile.

A licensed IVF clicnic ensures that a sperm donation goes through a number of checks.

Stephen Harbottle, consultant embryologist at Cambridge IVF and current chairman of ACE (Association of Clinical Embryologists) gave his opinion about this story today on Cambridge News Health Supplement.

''I am surprised Mr Watson has not been approached by some of his clients claiming child support by now as he does legally have parental responsibility. The rules surrounding lincensed sperm and egg donation are very strict, but they are strict for very good reasons''
